    On a serious note...

Looks like Coutinho will start from the bench in the next 2 games. Can't see him starting at OT.
Hendo is likely to miss Utd game.
Milner is available but I imagine Moreno will start vs Southampton.

Lovren or Klavan to play CB next to Lucas.
I really hope Lala doesn't get ****ed up vs Soton.
Firm and Origi likely to start up top.

Thank **** Milner's fit, not so much for the Southampton first leg but the MU game.
Thought Moreno was poor yesterday (no surprise there) <whistle>

its a big deal. it seems he won't be playing for them til he is sold... or unless he gives in and begs forgiveness.

Like ok in the fa cup they drew 2-2 to norwich with van dork and yoshida scoring but they still coughed up two goals and before that ahem... our nearest and dearest beat them 3-0 but fonte played that.

they also lost to west brom at home.... and before that tottenham so they are on the back of a few bad results here.

Always wary of bad runs. Especially this one. This is Soton's only chance to make it a good season. <ok>

well not quite given they scraped a draw in fa cup but i take the point.

Lose this and its going to be a VERY long spring and run in for them.

They have to get something out of this game as it is at home. This will play into our game as they won't be ultra defensive.

I can see a 2-0 to us. Tie over.

Well.... in general yes unless they play for 0-0 both legs and extra time and pens ideally they'd ant to come to anfield with at least a 1-0 lead.

I would not be crying at all at 0-0 coming to anfield however due to no away goal.

I'd hope at home they will open up though but the memory of 12 months ago getting tonked 6-1 must be raw even though things have changed at the club a lot.

I actually expect quite an intense game. And as long as our best players are on the pitch that suits me just fine.

I'm expecting and hoping for a tight cagey affair.

Certainly hope we don't go all out. Most important is to make sure we're still in the tie. No point going crazy trying to assume a decent lead to then lose 3-1 and effectively be out of it.

We drew (albeit rather fortunately) with you 0-0 in the league and you were playing much better back then and have a few more injury problems now too.

Yet to concede in this competition and have played PL teams in every round too.

I'd probably take 0-0 now if offerred tbh..

Anyone on here coming down? Or is that a bit of a stupid question... <whistle>

Oh and away goals count after et don't they? Silly ****ing rule that, can't ever remember a tie settled on that <doh>

Yes your record has been all Prem clubs so it's not been easy get here. Fonte disruption can't be good but who knows.

Youve not played well recently and neither have we.

Firmino might not be on it so I'm hoping coutinho comes in.

Yeah both teams form is worse than when we met in the league. Hoping that Coutinho is a bit rusty still and Mane is a massive miss for you.

Most worried about Sturridge tbh... that twat always seems to be fit when we meet and tends to bag a couple <grr>

Comfortable 4-0 home win... yeah I'll take that :)

The stare of origi last game you need not worry about him.

I think he got the huff about not playing during Christmas and is not working hard

If I'd said a 4-0 result that may have worked <whistle>
