well I assumed can played 60mins yesterday with the next games in mind.

However presser will be 1pm today so that will be interesting to see whats said.

I'd hope by end of the week we will have all ready to play full 90s v utd. couts, henderson and matip.

as always he is about 2 mins early into the room.

We made the changes yesterday for different reasons. I actually think there were no alternatives at this moment.
“For example Clyne played always when he is fit. Both of these games are very important.”

Klopp: Wednesday, the best team we can play, that's how it is. Last year (two legs) a surprise, this year I'm used to it. All good.

Klopp on Coutinho: I think Phil is fit enough to be part of the squad. He needs minutes in training, he needs minutes in games.

“I think Phil is fit enough to be a big part of the squad. (It) means there could be minutes. It depends on the game.

“It’s been seven weeks. It’s long. But no final decision has been made until now.

“I think (it was) the third complete session, tomorrow is the fourth.”

    Klopp on EFL Cup importance

“We are used to it (busy schedule), now we have one game more. That was not the plan but it doesn’t make the biggest difference.

If you ask for a rating in England in third it’s the Capital One Cup, but it’s the most important competition when you’re in it.

“We played Southampton and did well. We did not win there in the end, but it was a really strong performance from my side.”

    Klopp on youthful line-up
“If you win it’s wonderful because you have the youngest line-up ever.

“But we didn’t think like this, we selected the best line-up for the game.

Could we have done better? 100 percent yes. But with this line-up. I have the highest expectation because I see them every day in training.

Klopp: I know everyone is thinking Liverpool v Manchester (Utd) would be a nice final but there is still a tie to play.

Klopp on the second leg at Anfield
“If you asked nearly everybody would say let us play away first.

But we can’t think about the second leg for the moment. I’m sure they (Southampton) are pretty ambitious.

“We have had this experience one time in the final.”

    Klopp on Dortmund atmosphere
“I think I said a few times, I am really lucky, I have had a few similar nights in my life.

If I have to compare, I don’t like to, but if I have to then that was the best last half an hour I’ve ever been involved in.

“It was outstanding and pretty special, in a strange world at the moment creating something like this was special.”

    Klopp on righting final wrongs
“It would be nice. What do you think, that I don’t want to go to finals because I’ve lost the last five.”

Klopp on righting final wrongs: There is not more pressure on us. I don't think about missed chances. It's a new day.

Klopp on picking whether he will pick a young line-up v Southampton

It’s about who I have available. It’s not about young or old, it’s about what line-up makes the most sense because of individual players

Klopp's press conference - the key points
Jurgen Klopp’s press conference has come to a close - but don’t worry, we will have much more including reports and video from Melwood.

Here are the key points from Klopp:

    • Coutinho in a good way, and to be included in squad for Southampton
    • Matip making steps towards recovery
    • Milner also in a good way, Henderson closing in on return to training
    • Reds boss says it’s “pretty likely” that Karius starts v Southampton
    • Klopp has no regrets on Plymouth team, but says they could have done better

If he is, then he's getting paid by the post. Hence why he isn't just waiting for Klopp to finish and post it all in one large post. <ok>
