Interesting comment as we changed tactics for the Wolves game and seemed to work really well, hopefully RH will maintain that style for Leicester
I’m hoping to see a couple of truly eccentric, incomprehensible selection decisions by Ralph, resulting in a convincing display, and all three points.
Bloody Friday k.o. Not able to get there today as I've now got to work 'till gone 1800. No chance of ploughing my way through the A31/M27 in time to park up I suspect. It was bad enough for the Bompey game and I left at 1600 that day. So nailed on as our first win of the season at home.
you would be ok I think . A31 traffic at that time of day is headed the other way . It’s an 8pm kick off .
I think that Ralph needs a home win to show the supporters what he is capable of. To be honest, his best results have been away and I just think that he is still running on credit as far as the matches at St Mary's are concerned. The home performances don't generally merit his reputation amongst some fans and I would like to see the Saints put in a performance tonight that rectifies any lingering doubts. Granted he has been an improvement on the last two incumbents but only a win this evening will be good enough.
I'm leaving sunny Bournemouth at 4pm as my mate is taking me to ASK for my belated birthday meal Hopefully, the traffic will be ok as the M271 is a bit screwed at the moment.
Match prep under way. Pies ready to go, crate of Palm beer chilling and protective screen in front of TV.
So there’s no team anymore Ian, only a manager? No mention of the actual players, or you believe they’ve been done over by managerial choices? I’d like to see the whole team turn up and deliver like last week. Not going to blame Ralph unless he goes back to his weird positional choices and they backfire.
Me too, he was great once Ralph moved him out of the full back position he started the game as, he and Boufal playing wide midfield were very dangerous Can wait to get him back, very exciting and lovable player
