Badger was my first nickname as a child, based on my first name being Barry. A line manager, I used to work for, used to call me Barold, because a young Indian woman colleague once asked “if Harry is short for Harold, is Barry short for Barold?
Don't be shellfish and (Qua)hog the thread with fish puns guys, there's a match happening Friday apparently. I'm confident as ever and predict a comfortable win For Leicester
Could well be a 0-2 loss but that will probably be down just as much to how good Leicester are. No repeat of our last Friday night match please.
We totally dominated the first half of this fixture, last season, and should have been 1 or 2 up at halftime. Individual error played it’s part, in the equaliser, giving them momentum to grab the late winner. Hopefully they will repeat the first half from last season and give us a chance to get a foothold and more than 1 goal. And hopefully no red cards for us. Pierre sent off in this one last season. 77 minutes when 1-1
1-0 Saints. A goal somewhat against the run of play, scored in the 83rd minute. VAR to the rescue again, after Vardy is found offside by the narrowest of margins. Despite all efforts to abandon our lead, we somehow scrape through, mostly due to us scoring late and not having enough time to surrender our lead. Sure, Leicester are dining at the top table, whereas our idea of a clean sheet is the blanket at the bottom of the dog's basket, but Leicester will realise that beating Southampton would put the universe out of kilter and will therefore make the necessary sacrifice in order to restore us to our rightful place in the table (about 14th).
sign of the times. A home game against Leiester and most likely result is an away win! we desperately need to win this tho. its really critical. we cant rely on our away form all season!!! come on lads. big performance needed BIG TIME!!!
I reckon Wolves might turn out to be a turning point with a consistant team selection and more solid performances. It's about time we beat somebody at SMS and Friday might be the that game. I'll go 2-1 Saints with goals from Redders and JWP.
Another Friday night fixture, another game I’ll have to miss. Thanks a lot Sky. If you could find a way to win this Saints, that would go a long way to compensate me for not being there.
I can only go to the game because it's on Friday. I'm refereeing Saturday and Sunday so it's worked out for me. #selfishbastard
I think a win prediction based on a slightly better performance against Wolves away, does not equate to beating a side performing to a top-six, possibly a top-four standard; not that wrote we would win RWMK. Hopefully we can get a draw but see this most likely as a 1-2 loss.
My dad (ST holder) is in hospital so we won’t be going to this one. A nice home win to cheer us up please!
