No true... but like you and DL said it's hardly ideal timing.

I'd say generally speaking though if an unpopular manager is sacked, usually there's a response the next game.

I think your point about performance post-sacking is probably a pseudo-statistic where it just feels that way, but actually probably isn't true.

 

Does anyone even know if de Boer was unpopular with the team...Inter Milan may be just a poor team.

 

I'd say most groups of players who are grossly underperforming would be unhappy but agree it's impossible to know for sure.

 

de Boer says they are a talented team but have a poor attitude at the moment.

 

Bertrand won't be starting this one for sure. Only just returned from injury and needed to be subbed against Chelsea. Expect to see Yoshida replace Fonte and McQueen in for Bertrand.

 

They will have 2 days with a youth team coach in charge to completely turn around their recent performances/attitude for anyone worried. I would imagine they will park the bus and try and get a goal on the counter against us.

 

As Big Dave would say, what we don't want to do is to get complacent.

 

Be interesting to see what happens ... the Milan team could go either way.

 

Fonte will surely play this one...rest him for Hull if needs be, but have to win this....or at least not lose it.
