That's pretty much what I think will see but I'm hopeful of seeing Boufal.

 

I forgot about Boufal, probably instead of Redmond. Or maybe keep Redmond and replace Tadic.

 

Think Tadic is most likely.

 

A polish ref is great news...I hope he gets the chance to visit many of the great shops and get some home comforts during his stay

Won't happen before our game, but has to efect De Boer.

 

Reasonably confident that we can get the result. However, as the guy on the checkout desk of my hotel in Milan pointed out regarding the result in the San Siro, "1-0. One chance, we score. This is no luck." He was right I think. We'll have to be patient and we'll have to maintain concentration and not let them in, because they are capable of taking whatever chance they may get.

 

Agree with Archers - need to be patient - see this as a home win; expect to see some rotation but fundamentally a lot of first teamers on the pitch to get us close to qualification for the next round.

This is a must win game due to the poor result in Milan so would hope CP puts out the strongest available team to make sure it happens.
Also I am travelling down to the game!✌

 

VVD and Yoshida the CB pairing for me. Fonte has played the last 3 games while VVD had a rest against Sunderland.

 

We need two wins from the last three to insure qualification.
A win will effectively eliminate Inter from the group

Morning everyone, it's good to be back! I had some account problems that locked me out of my account for 3 weeks and left me unable to post but Beddytare was able to help me and get my account working again

My girlfriend and I are flying from Belfast to Southampton on Thursday morning and staying until Saturday afternoon, it will be my first match of the season and my first ever European game to boot. Looking forward to it immensely, keep me abreast of any drink plans prior to the game and I'll see if we can swing by.

As for the match itself, I just hope the defeat to Chelsea hasn't knocked our confidence but there is no reason why it would. We responded well to defeats against United and Arsenal so hopefully we can do the same on Thursday! ​

A confused picture at Inter Milan this morning, where it is fair to say Frank de Boer’s tenure as manager is hanging by a thread.

I spoke to a couple of people at the club late last night.

One said De Boer’s departure would be announced this morning, another said the Dutchman could cling on for Thursday’s Europa League tie with Southampton, but that if he didn’t win that, he would be out.

It seems the former Ajax coach, who was only appointed in August, is not taking training this morning ahead of a conversation with Inter’s owners, the Suning Group, that could seal his fate.

 

I hope this drags on beyond Thursdays game.
