I'm not going to this, but we're perfectly capable of putting in a frustratingly drab performance without me being there. Still, though. This thing called hope, forelorn or otherwise... 2-0 Saints, Elyounoussi and Walcott.
Have put us to win in prediction league…because sliding out of the PL with games to spare isn’t cruel enough. Saints will win the odd game to keep our hands gripping the parapet to extend the agony of hope.
Finding it hard to see anything other than a standard performance where we control the game between the boxes, don’t create much but what we do we waste and they score from a breakaway/set piece and we lose 1 or 2-0
It’s the same script as the majority of games we’ve played against the non top teams. If it happens this often and the average fan can see it then I’d bet a lot of money on the fact that the opposition coaching team does aswell and factors it in when preparing to play us. Which probably makes us look far better than we are in between the boxes as teams will just sit off us and let us try and attack and leave gaps they can exploit when Ely inevitably ****s it up
Yeah, he showed more skill and intent with that goal in pre-season than Mo El has in the whole of his time with us.
Maybe I am missing something but what has Perraud been doing wrong to stay out of the team? At least he can score a goal!!
