Not that I can find - most of the highlights of the goal seem to start from Romeu's header. But on Sky's Game of the Day last night, they had a camera shot from close to the Kingsland-Northam corner, which did have Fraser's kick and Long run in the same shot (and even though that meant it wasn't in line with Long, the cut of the grass helps because Long and the last defender, who was Ivanovic, are standing in different strips when Fraser kicks). I had to rewind it about three times when I saw it, because it caught me totally unaware and I thought I was seeing things. But nowhere else have I seen it, or even heard about it. Which unnerves me.
I honestly fail to see why I am always the bad guy or wind up dude here. I've said nothing other than I don't believe Pelle can be viewed as the sole reason we lost. My original post was hardly controversial. I wasn't the guy who hounded Tintin on every post on every thread until he left. But whatever. I'm gonna keep posting like I do. There's an ignore button if you don't like it. That's what it's there for. I take no personal offense if people ignore me, which many probably already do without me knowing it.
They are massive apples, also really red. They look fantastic. Which is really the problem. They were bred to look fantastic instead of actually taste good. http://www.theatlantic.com/health/archive/2014/09/the-evil-reign-of-the-red-delicious/379892/
My final comment just to try and find some peace: Nobody has said Pelle is the reason we lost, let alone the sole reason. I said that and Lff said that, so I am not sure why you think people think Pelle is the sole reason we lost. When people post something, there is often grey between the black and white.
I think that LFF WAS saying that. If he wasn't fine. It is all a misunderstanding. My bad. Honestly was never trying to start anything. I'm as puzzled as anyone else why this seems to have turned into a mild flame war.
Yeah. I thought it was a punt. I have dodgy internet connection this weekend so haven't gotten to review the plays like I usually like to do. Kinda stuck with highlight YouTube clips and they cut off the start of the play. But yeah, if it was a goal kick Long could legally receive the ball in a technically offside position. So they would be correct not to blow the whistle.
Learn something new every day. I did wonder if that was a rule (like with throw-ins), because Long really did start so far back and not one Chelsea player appealed, but I decided to dismiss it on the basis that surely a rule as basic and fundamental as that, I would know about. My ignorance.
That rule never made sense to me. You are not offside if receiving the ball directly from a throw in, corner kick or goal kick. But you will be offside if it is a direct or indirect free kick. I don't get why they should be different. If anything, I feel like the rules should be more lenient for free kicks. After all, you committed a foul so if there is an advantage to be had, it should go to the other team.
You're not, mate. I am sorry if anyone was hounded off the board. You post some great stuff, but there are times that you are like a dog with a bone. Of course you should keep posting and express your opinion strongly. It's not the problem. It's the way you keep repeating a point. PS. Apologies for the hound/dog accidental pun
Well, we are on to apples are we? Ah yes, how about a nice couple of Cox's? Already here? Oh, OK. I see that the tone of board after is a loss is still a core problem. I do hope we pip Bournemouth and that all the negativity crumbles and we can turnover a new leaf.
