I see what he offers too Archers. I’ve defended Shane enough over the seasons. My point was is he a better player than Gabbi and with Gabbi, a coach needs to play to his strengths to get what the team needs from him. With Shane, he’s only going to give you that running and work rate (that we all
Love), but he’s limited. Gabbi is limited, but if you manage as a coach to unlock both these players attributes, Gabbi could give you what you need.

 

I agree with this and it is why Shane needs to play in a two or three up top. How well did he do with Mane/Tadic or Pelle up there with him?

 

Yet we don’t have those other types of players and yet he still plays.

 

Yep. Tough at the moment, but I’m still hopeful that Ralph will get us wins. A few people have used the word “consistent” or “inconsistent”... I think inconsistency will keep us up. We’ll get wins under Ralph rather than plod through to draws like we often did with MP2

 

Yeah, the points per game will be up on MP2 and Hughes last 8 games or what ever it was. We may lose the same, but turning draws into wins is gold dust.

I reckon about 20 posters have hovered over a response to that question Jonny, and then quietly moved along. There's no highlights, even our goal just feels like a build up to more disappointment.
