I have a nasty feeling this one will be a draw.......They have parked the bus too many times when they have visited us....So unless someone from Saints is really on fire I cannot see Saints doing that much. Whatever happens Poyet will make excuses even if Brighton win, he will say they should of won by more. He is such a twat......sorry do not like the man!!

A draw would be ok i think i would take that now our home record against brighton isn't great they always come and are very negative i think to win we will need lallana guly and de ridder to do something special. or maybe a goal from jos off a set piece. heart says 3-1 head says 0-0.

"they always come and are very negative"

They were negative for one match last year, the year before that they dicked us 3-1. But we're a different prospect now than we used to be. With a fit Lallana I can see us winning 2-0.

Not for the first time this season, we're the main game on TFLS this Saturday. God I love being top!

The home winning run will obviously end at some point but i dont think its this week. I hope Brighton do come and try to stiffle the game just as they did last season because they wont get away with it twice we controlled that game and should have won convincingly. This time we will be more ruthless and 3 0 is my prediction

I think if we score first, then they will have to let off the handbrake, and the bus will no longer be parked and so we will score again. If they score first, then they will hardly reach the halfway line for the rest of the game. Still think we will win though.

1-0 saints

Davis
Richardson Fonte Hooiveld Fox
Chaplow Schneiderlin Cork Lallana
Guly Lambert

Bialkowski, Martin, Hammond, De Ridder, Connolly

Hopefully brighton dont come and park the bus like last year, im going for a 4-1 saints win :)
the home record will keep on going as well because I have put a £5 bet on with my mate that we will go the whole season unbeaten at home in the league :)

Slightly worrying to read on the OS that one player is definately out for Saturday, whilst another is doubtful. The fact that Adkins is keeping his cards close to chest, and not naming names, suggests that he isn't referring to Seaborne and Jaidi - more that these are in addition to those two.

An interesting statistic - Brighton have yet to concede a first half goal ALL YEAR. It would be nice to put an end to that stat! This looks a similar sort of match to the Middlesbrough game, so two goals in the first half and another after the break sounds just fine to me.

"One will be out; one will be a doubt" - would love to know who Adkins is referring to. Don't think we picked up any fresh injuries so unless one cropped up during training he must just be referring to Barnard, Jaidi or Seabourne.

Thoughts?

i dont think the injuries are referring to jaidi and seaborne as we know they are still long term - barnard could be one

but does anyone else get annoyed they dont tell us anything? as fans i feel we deserve to know what is going on in our club - uncertainty doesnt get you anywhere
