We must be the only team that has a two week break and come back with more knocks than we started with. Got to laugh.
Given Shane and Charlie have not trained and Danny has blisters (you’d think they could afford proper boots that fit wouldn’t you ) what are the chances of Sam and Gabbi up top?
We've generally done alright with the number of injuries recently I think. Just despite our squad being full of average players they always seem to be long injuries to our key players right when they're on form like Austin last season, VvD the season before. so Ings this season would seem inevitable. Those blisters are guaranteed to escalate to gangrene and an amputation
Ah, Lawro does make me laugh. For the Palace v Saints prediction he said he was worried about our lack of goal threat. Now for the Brighton game he says we look far more dangerous up front.
He really is a complete twat, but for some reason I can't stop looking for his score predictions. Am I ill?
He’s drawn you into his web.. That’s how he operates - it’s insidious, like addiction. Starts out as just a bit of fun, nothing too serious. But before you know it, Lawrenson completely takes over your life.
Its nothing to what he was like in the 90's. He was so matter of fact about our relegation every season. And every season we defied him. I get the impression we annoyed him a fair bit!
I think that everyone's entitled to their own, sorry, to St Godders opinion. It's not coincidence that 'St Godders' includes God
Normally I'd agree, except that I'm off on Monday and Tuesday, and I do love an evening kick-off under the floodlights. Plus I can watch Motd on Saturday, come what may.
I just hope that Sparky is a bit more adventurous than his predecessor was in the corresponding fixture last season, i.e. no Shane as a solo Striker and Steven Davis "providing" him.
We’re going to win. Just had a phone call from the club to say I have won a two course meal for two at ‘the gasworks’ - the old virgin media hub in the Kingsland Stand !!![emoji16] It’s an omen! COYR!
The Amex trip last season was just as painful. We looked good, scored, then just looked so scared. Really hope we can build on our cup win, and start putting these new boys in their place. Still not forgiven them for Gus's first game in charge, or the one when they got Lambert his only ever red! GRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
