Thanks, there's been a mixed bag on mine - we lost the FA Cup Final in 2003 but beat Everton 2-0 to pull off the great escape in 1998
Wow that brings back some memories: 12 years since the cup final, and 16 since those Marian goals. Blimey.
Would play young Hesketh in no 10 roll in a 4213 setup. We have a problem with the final ball and strikers that are not willing to pull the trigger. Hesketh pulls all the strings for the u21 and is basically involved in all things good. Front 3 of Long and Djuricic with Mane through the middle. Probably Gallagar and Seagar on the bench as well
I remember so much of the Cup Final. The weather was ****, me and my Dad found a street with the same name as our surname, I remember Henry not getting Claus sent off by very sportingly staying on his feet. I remember Niemi getting stretchered off and Paul Jones coming on.
and Beattie's late header being handled on the line by Ashley Cole. Well, it hit Cole on the thigh, but it was still handball.
Koeman’s side entertain Tim Sherwood’s men on Saturday lunchtime looking to pick up a vital three points in their bid to secure a European place. The Saints boss is also keen to reward the club’s “amazing” supporters for their backing at home and on the road throughout the 2014/15 campaign. “We would like to thank them with a good game, but most important is to give them the three points this Saturday,” Koeman told Southampton’s official YouTube channel. “The fans have been amazing for the players, for the team and for the coaches. Of course then you finish at home in the last game and you like to give them the victory and we need that one. “We know we are close to Tottenham, it is one point difference. But we know Swansea is doing very good in the last few weeks and they are very close behind us. “That makes the situation more difficult. We need to win this Saturday. “We play at home, our last home game, and the fans deserve at least a good game but also three points. In my opinion it is a must-win game this weekend.” James Ward-Prowse will return to the side for the visit of the Villans, but Koeman confirmed the rest of the squad will be the same as last weekend’s trip to Leicester City. Koeman, however, is hopeful Morgan Schneiderlin and Jay Rodriguez may be in line to feature at Manchester City on the final day of the season. “Still we have the same squad,” Koeman added. “Morgan is back in training, not with the group but he was on the pitch. He’s still out but maybe next week, we have to wait. “Dušan Tadić is still out. It’s a normal situation like the last two games. “Jay is close. We hope that he can be part of the Under-21s game that is still to be confirmed next week at home to Man City,” continued Koeman. “That will be his first game in the Under-21s for 30 or 35 minutes but it’s going well. He’s doing all the exercises with the team this week. “If we can put him on the bench in the last game it will be a great achievement for Jay for what he did in coming back.” Read more at http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/news/arti...-aston-villa-2456559.aspx#1kXYrg4Y9xOxbOOt.99

Let's go back to emergency 3-5-2 Gazzaniga Yoshida Fonte Alderweireld Clyne Wanyama Davis/Ward Prowse Djuricic Bertrand Pelle Mane

Looks like Kelv is not going to get his 300th game....not a massive thing like getting a medal or a title, but a shame none the less. I now see what RK meant when he commented that SKD would always put the team first.
