Getting one tomorrow after school. It's all I can think of I think I have a problem. The only thing that ranks among subway for me is porn and saints.
 
Once got 2 footlongs in a day. It was amazing. The workers looked a bit surprised and I was a bit out of pocket but it was worth it.
 
I've been working very hard on my granddaughters so that they have a minimum expectation of the standard of restaurant to be taken to by a young man and none of you lot have come anywhere near it yet except Its Only a Game. It would seem that with you cheapskate lot and your very low threshold of food quality none of you will ever stand a chance with them thank goodness. Heaven forbid that any of my granddaughters should ever appear at my house and say "Grandad I would like you to meet my new boyfriend Joey B (or even worse SB3) we are going out this evening to Subways for dinner!"

As much as I love Subway, i'd never take anyone on a date there.
 
Best Chinese buffet is Kachina on Shirley High St.

A few good Indians, Jewell in the Crown in Shirley, Ghandi's in Totton or in Town try Kuti's. Corriandar Lounge at the bottom of the high st is supposed to be good though (they are the ex owners of Popadom Express)
 
A couple of nice Italian Restaurants, there's Beuna Gusto's by the train Station or Margerita restaurant by the waterside though you'd probably need to book

I was also a bit rough round the edges until I met my wife. She is a very sophisticated woman who wouldn't accept anything less.
 
Beside kfc there's a restaurant called Tang's. I recommend the all-you-can-eat buffet.
The setup is unusual though. You just order stuff off the menu and they cook it and bring it out to you. Again, and again, and again.
 
If you want to go for a dinner I would go to Winchester though. Many places there that have quality food but is more expensive than a subway.
 
Certainly wouldn't go to La Lupa, been there few times, food either undercooked or overcooked, and bad review by friends, seriously...

I haven't been there in about 5+ years so I can't really give a review of it now. Was amazing the times I went there though and have very friendly staff.
