Even if Rickie is truthfully on 32.5K a week, and WHU are willing to double his wages, I doubt if he is even remotely interested. Only if Cortese said, Yes, Rickie, you can go if you really want, would he even consider it. He has said many times of his gratitude to Saints for allowing him to fulfil his potential. In a world where people routinely go back on what they say, I think he is a man of his word.

However, he has served this club well, and has become a Saints legend. And that's an understatement.

Agreed, it's twaddle. I wouldn't doubt that WHU have considered it, have probably enquired about him, and have been told to go away, but there is where it probably ends. Bertrand is a good left back though. Pacey and likes to get forward. Shame he catches injuries all the time like shaw. I was gonna say a bit more money would sweeten the deal.
