Regards second paragraph (missed that earlier) makes no odds really, and yes I suspect that was the case. Leaves a bad taste in the mouth the way it dragged on, but more and more so, less surprises me in modern football. Little steps at a time, I've just accepted that players use us as a stepping stone!! Anyway, I'm looking forward to moving on from Poch to be quite honest.

To be fair I think Joe, in his internet forum persona, knows this and plays it up somewhat. He makes it well known that he can't ever possibly be wrong, and then stands back and watches others get worked up about it. Some would say it is sometimes a little bit funny. Others - well they have a name for that kind of behaviour.

When has signing a new contract ever prevented a future move? But yeah, if I were Rodriguez I wouldn't sign either. A lot has changed at the club, and I think it's fair for him to wait and see if this is the right place for him.
