Now put them in order of how good they were!

Not a lot of consistency in that list. I'd like to see some stability and club support for a while. I'm not asking for Sir Alex Ferguson or anything, but having more managers than years cannot be a good thing.

Top 3
1) Gordon Strachan
2) Nigel Adkins
3) George Burley
Bottom 3
1) Harry Redknapp
2) Jan Portvliet
3) Dean Wilkins (Is a great coach but not manager material)
CBA to do all of them

but i liked Mark Wotte. thought at the time they should have given him a chance.

My favourite was personally Nigel Pearson, not because of how good a manager he was but because he had some much passion for the club

My favourite manager is probably Nigel Adkins, he is what I would call a modern manager, his style is similar to André Villas-Boas at Chelsea. I liked Pardew, Burley (although he was often drunk at training sessions) and Nigel Pearson for having the passion! Wigley, I respect but was totally useles, the Gorman/Dodd partnership was a disaster as was the Basset/Wise partnership, but to be fair, those guys were in charge at bad periods for the club.
