Southampton kit 2018/19....

Not too much of a surprise. We don't even have a release date for the away kit yet, I believe? (And by all accounts, I think that is favoured by fans more than the home shirt).

And yes, I imagine that we'll wear the third shirt only when we want to. In terms of avoiding kit clashing away from home, having two kits so completely different in colour is clearly sufficient (unless someone wants to wear some sort of hideous red and yellow strip home shirt). So it's nothing more than a money making exercise. How successful it proves on that front, I don't know.

(Not that I will buy it - I'll get the away shirt - but I actually quite like it).

I think they are trying to copy the collar of the yellow Umbro "aap Brazil" away kit from a few years ago! That a huge amount of people loved..............and got it soooo wrong.

 

Whats the point of a third team kit that is so similar to our first choice kit?

I thought that. Also the reason in June when I went to watch Atlanta Utd play, my daughter bought me a T shirt instead of the home shirt. I pointed out there is no way I could wear it at home:

Very nice, like a yellow shirt etc etc. But Gabbi's gesture suggests he's not so keen??
