They could have just had an outline of the logo on the away kit without filling it all in with red. Like on the keeper kit. Not a fan of the away kit, home is growing on me each time I see it but the bulge around the under armour logo is so frustrating.
I think Virgin Media are probably paying enough to be able to say that they want their branding in their actual colours, to be fair. I'd love to see the argument when someone tries telling them that £6m a year for three years isn't enough to be able to have their logo in its natural colours. I'm not arsed about the logo. Probably could look better but it's not really a hang up. Also agree with you that the more I see the home kit, the more I like it. That bulge around the UA logo is weird, though.
Doesn't quite have the same level of visibility! I can't recall many games I've watched where they've been focusing on the goalkeeper in general play. I take your point but that's a small concession from them. I wouldn't expect them to change their logo for the main shirt when they're paying what they are.
Yeah I don’t disagree. Personally a kit is a kit. You have an initial opinion and move on and concentrate on the actual football. Just commenting that a load of people were irate about it and seem to take delight in attacking the club on anything and everything.
Yeah they probably are paying enough to demand their colour logo is included, but the last two away kits both only had the outlines and it looked a lot neater.
That's a lot of money, doubt they'll shift many at that price. I'm guessing that there must be a demand for it though or they wouldn't bother
Anyone else notice the difference under the arms between the tighter shirt (Redmond) and the looser fit (Gabbiadini). All the ones I can see on our website look like the latter but I prefer the one redmond is in.
Fairly sure they are different, both the one Redmond and JWP are wearing dont have the black pinstripe on the edge of the white in that area, but Gabbi's does?
