Earlier I tuned into Meridian to see how Fred Dineage reported all the wonderful football news in our region. Do you know what? Fred seems to have taken a days holiday and left someone else to do it. What a shame.
Did Meridian actually show our goals? I must have blinked and missed it. Nice work from Spider, luv his ourageous French accent.
I was sitting next but one to Andrew Pate & Sarah Gomme from Meridian on Saturday - Andrew is a true red & white, though Sarah is more Wycombe Wanderer. At 4-0 I said could he pass on a message to Fred. He asked what was that. I replied "Who the f**k is laughing now!"
He laughed...I doubt he passed it on!
To be fair to most of the media, they seem to have made up for all the neglect over the years in the last few days alone. The football media especially seem to be welcoming back Saints to the PL like a long lost relative. It's quite touching, really.

Tbh, I was a tad disappointed in LKO, last night. Yes, the lads were in the studio, but it was barely for 2-3 minutes and there was no extra video footage. I know they had to get in Swindon's and Reading's celebrations, but I'm a Saints fan and I've very quickly become used to our team hogging the limelight..!
