Must be some kind of record. Saints are now taking bookings for hospitality for Portsmouth game in April 2012!!!! Interestingly, you have to name two other fixtures as tickets for this match will have to be bought with 2 other games.

It annoys me that the club does this - seem to remember a similar scenario when we played Manure earlier in the year. The club are just cashing in on the popularity of certain fixtures, it's not the right way to go in my opinion! I'm already upset that the price of a home shirt has gone up £2!

Thinks there's also a security issue..if you're willing to buy tickets for 3 games you're probably a real fan.

Exactly, it's like having to have a mini-season ticket so you can get to what will probably be the biggest attendance of the year. I don't see a problem with it personally, it maximises the takings for the club, which will ultimately mean the club can afford bigger wages for better players.

My dad was in hospitality for the Leeds game, lucky git.

Was he in a box or a suite? The boxes were well occupied, but the seats either side of the directors box were completely empty. The suites must have been deserted. Made me think that Saints have got their pricing or advertising a bit wrong. Might explain why they are desperate to get money in early for the skate game.

A box, I think his company works with aap3 so he got a couple of seats from them. The suites are totally inaccessible to most supporters so I'm not surprised that they aren't particularly popular.

There is nothing wrong with linking games, you get to choose your other game and it helps ensure less Southampton based Man U fans in home area.

Show some dedication.

There's dedication, then there's exploitation!

Still can't complain too much, at least we don't have 4 different shirts for sale and charge £1400 for a season ticket like they do at Spurs!

Most fans would buy tickets for more than one game so don't see it as an issue really. The only problem is if you travel from a distance and wanted that particular game, but worth it to keep opposition supporters like plastic Mancs out. As Portsmouth fans live so close, the danger would be very high of them buying tickets in the Saints end when they'd sold theirs.

Good point, never thought of it that way - Thanks for enlightening me fran!
