I hear you've secured a loan deal for Sotirios Kyrgiakos.

As an ex-Liverpool player, I must say he is colossus. Great CB and fantastic at coming forward for corners, he attacks the ball like very few players can.

He makes the odd mistake, but when on form he's excellent.

I think you've done some good business there for sure <ok>

I seem to recall he got his fair share of goals from set pieces but never saw him emplyed up front as amakeshift striker which would appear to be in MON s plans

Cheers for the post. I have to admit, I am dubious about him but hopefully his aerial ability will be put to good use by our seb!

    He's certainly no striker <laugh>

He scored some important goals for us, when he left the fans were sad to see him go. We all still hold a lot of respect for him <ok>

He'll get you goals at set pieces, that's a dead cert. But he'll also occasionally make a mistake.

This would be hilarious, get the git big greek loon hoying himself about up front, charging about like a bull on steroids knocking **** out of oppo centre halves, MON is a magician and he will finish top scorer most likely

In all seriousness though I doubt MON has been telling Sky his tactical plans, this fella will play in defense and that will be it, might get chucked up front for the last 5 minutes if we are losing like Blackburn do with Samba but that will be it

One plus to his game is his defending at corners - he's huge like some Greek warrior...

He quickly became a cult figure here - mainly because he looks like a gladiator.

You'll come to know him as simply 'SOTO'.

One things guaranteed, he'll give 110% every game <ok>

Titus is going to Jail and not collecting £200.00 - That's why we've bought him.

So the deal involved a 'get out of jail free' card then?

If I had to rate him in terms of monopoly property Id go for a straight forward 'Fleet Street' <ok>

Cheers Sky mate - nice to hear this because most of us didn't know too much about him and were getting innundated with mags telling us how crap he was.

No mate - he's quality. Very experienced and on his day an absolute monster.

Played at all levels and was a great success for us. Often used as cover, but when called upon he done an excellent job. And like I say he's experienced at all levels, including European and International football.

I predict he'll be a excellent addition to your squad - to be honest I would of had him back here.

And like I've previously said he has an extremely powerful head and will get goals.

Put it this way I've not seen a player with a stronger heading ability play for Liverpool for years, probably since Hypia (and Id put them on a par with each other in terms of power)

That was a tongue in cheek response to MDITWP's post. Sorry if it went over your head.
