No he's alright, but I think he was confusing you with a Gretna fan for some reason!

Because he's a mong? I do have a Gretna badge on my Profile Page, but I think my answer to the "What Team Do You Support?" question might have given him a better idea. Ah well, he's embarrassed himself now and there's nothing he can do to change that fact. <laugh>

I have to agree. Captaincy should be earned. The captain should have the respect of his workmates so he can lead them forward. Barton had neither of these.

In fact, I'd imagine that the existing QPR players were a little pissed that a new player had JUST been signed and suddenly became their on-pitch leader.

Jesus H Christ, he's a Hull fan! Now why the fook have you the badge of another Club in your Profile? <doh>

It was remiss of me. The only people to have a real obsession with QPR are the "ay up, lets get promoted, go crazy in the transfer market, get relegated and destroy our Club" Dull City fans.

I've asked this many times on this Forum and I'll ask it again. What the fu*k is it with these sea-faring Popeye's and their fixation with our Club?

    1) <laugh>
    2) <doh>
    3) I have no obsession with your club. I was voicing my opinions on your fans' apparent inability to see why Barton is underperforming (i.e. That your manager decided to lick his arse and make him captain before he'd even trained).
    4) 'Dull City' - very original. Shall I bring out the Drama Queens Park Rangers nickname? Very apt considering Taarabt's actions at the weekend. (Always that same name that crops up; funny that... <laugh>).
    5) Please name me one Hull fan who wants us to "get promoted, go crazy in the transfer market, get relegated and destroy our club". <laugh>

Admit it mate, you made a right royal mess of things when you reached the Land of Milk and Honey. You and your orange-coloured Karaoke-King Clown that called himself a Manager.

I suppose if my Club was a sh*t Championship one up there right in the middle of Bum-Sniffer Country, I'd fixate myself on another one an' all!

You're right, we made a lot of mistakes when we were in the Premier League. But that was down to a moronic chairman and owner, both of whom jumped ship long ago. You, however, said our fans wanted us to get promoted and cripple ourselves again. Please demonstrate that this is true.

As for the "orange-coloured Karaoke-King Clown", I assume you mean Mr Phil Brown. What on Earth you mean by "...called himself a manager" is beyond me. He was a very good manager. He kept us in the Championship after we looked dead and buried by Christmas. He got us promoted to the Premier League. He kept us in the Premier League. He is now at Preston North End and they are already looking like one of the best sides in their division. How a club whose manager is Neil Warnock can comment on embarrassing managers is also beyond my comprehension.

Finally - How are we a "**** Championship club" and what the **** is "bum-sniffer country"?

I didn't say that, I was merely describing the Club to which Hull fans give their allegiance. As for Phil Brown, he spent an astronomical amount of money in your second season a result of which your still suffering from today. Whether you're sh*t or not is a matter of opinion and I was referring to the fact that you're in rugby country.

Listen Sinbad, I know they take you out of school at a young age up there and send you off with a bucket, a net and a chunk of slimy pudding to learn your trade but you still can't be that thick as to need every word explained.

So on your bike ye rowdy Northern Cod Head and go have a lie down.

Well then please try to avoid saying "the 'ay up, lets get promoted, go crazy in the transfer market, get relegated and destroy our Club' Dull City fans" then. As Harry Redknapp once said, it appears that you "don't speak the English too good"!

No he didn't and no we aren't.

I know that you dunce, I was asking you to explain why it is your opinion.

And you decided to reference that by saying I lived in 'bum-sniffer country'? God help us.

PS. Where exactly do you believe is 'Rugby country'? If it's where I think you mean, I'm not from there at all...

Firstly, I apologise for having never referred to Rugby as 'bum-sniffing' and for speaking English, as opposed to whatever hodgepodge of languages you are using to put across your views.

Secondly, who exactly do you believe has 'taken me out of school'? I don't recall this ever happening, though if it did, I'm grateful that they've put me here (in a University, on a Law course)!

Last but not least, 'thick'? This coming from somebody who cannot spell "you're", confuses Rugby with homoeroticism and substitutes the word 'ye' for 'you'. <laugh>

Come along, I'm no codhead. Certainly not a true codhead. I'm also younger than you, so certainly not in need of a lie down! <nahnah>

"You are" abbreviated to You're. Whats wrong with that Legal Eagle?

Anyway, I enjoyed that joust. You're a good sport. Best of luck for the season fella. :emoticon-0148-yes:

Aw, that's not fair. But if you want to be (star-cross'd) lovers, that's fine. <hug>

PS. It was the "you are" abbreviated to "your". <ok>

We all expect a lot more from Barton. He is a better player than he has shown so far. Hopefully he will soon start to prove that.

Am I the only one to find this thread well OTT? Yes he had a shocker at the Cottage but then so did everyone else including the manager who made poor choices. But the rest of his performances have been pretty solid if not spectacular. I wasn't overwhelmed when Barton was signed by now that he's here we surely have to give him a chance.

Thought he proved his worth in first couple of games, but since then seems to have lost a bit of enthusiasm and dare I say any real interest. At least he's not Twittering so much after the 6-0, so maybe he is now more focussed on his game. I'm hoping so anyway.

I think it's tied in with the other rumours, not just the performances.

Well done Swords ... Hull should by reason, vote or logic be tipped back into the North Sea ... Fish heads
