If you were just deciding between an iPhone and a Blackberry, then it's no contest, the iPhone wind hands down, but as has been mentioned, several of the new cheaper smart phones do all the same things for less money.
id get a blackberry or iphone over android, the app stores creeping up but most of it is crap and the battery life is abismal, as I said before, wp7, bb or iphone for corporate and battery life, wp7 or iphone if you want apps and a "fun phone" aswell.
