Hi ROD, The reason being i expected us to loose this game, simply a draw was not the result we required.we need to win these next three games,do i think we will sorry no. I really do think fans need to realise it is not happening under Delboy
'simply a draw was not the result we required' - Sorry it was a great point. Any point away from home is brilliant. Where we're fu**ed is at Ashton Gate - Not a win since August. It's one long guts ache.
Very true under normal circumstances, but we need more than single points from teams around us just to get in touching distance of them, remember we need three wins just to get back in touching distance,on top of that we have to hope they loose those games they have to play. Very tall order even in December to claw these points back. I do not see what is going to change, from what we have seen between August and December, then January to May.
Get your head out the sand. Look where we are in the league. Like I said before if we had some sort of home form, and picked up a few points here and there i'd be dancing around the room, praising our fantastic players and wearing my Mguiness made in Bristol t-shirt.
I am still optimistic about 2013, as long as Del makes the right moves and Steve backs him fearlessly. Frankly i think we all know it will take a bout of genius to turn us into a serious force, but maybe Del's time has arrived. I do hope so
In August you were going around saying we were dark horses? A point was bloody good at Ipswich, any away point is. The annoying thing was the others won. even Mick McCarthey came out and said we could have been out of sight by half time. As managers go he normally tells it as it is so we must have played well.
A point up there is no easy task....especialy as we have been thumped there a few times in the past recent seasons. Sounded like we could have taken all 3 points with a bit more luck and better finishing. A good point imo, but it goes without saying, we need to take the next 6 at our place.....
Hi Poshminx - I've heard conflicting reports as to who deserved the points, but you were probably there and of course I wasn't, so I bow to your greater knowledge. Your form at the moment scares me a tad given that we are playing you in 5 days time, that we've not won at home since August, and that you've just dispatched Cardiff and Bolton..........
I get the feeling that if you had been in charge of our country in WW2, rather than Churchill, we would now all be speaking German. Grow some kahunas and get behind the team and the manager. We have been relegated before and we probably will be again, maybe this year or maybe another, but dont wallow in self pity. "We're all doomed Mr Mannering". Well I am not and I spend 95 minutes every Saturday shouting encoragement to the team, or my phone or TV (if I am not at the game). I will never turn my back on the team I love. Lets drag the team upwards by positive mental thinking.
