I think that backs up my argument very nicely, Boss! Thank you very much! :)

So, 6 points behind Liverpool who are very good form. Us, on the other hand, playing terrible with no ideas.
If the Europa really does cause these league issues, what do we do?
Do we hope for the best and try to win it, as it's our only chance at silverware this season?
Or, do we bail out and push Liverpool/4th place, all the way to the end? - based on the conversation over the last few days, it'd seem that the EL would have to be sacked off in order for us to realistically keep up the pace in the prem.
history would suggest that challenging for both will result in failure all round.

    What will Sherwood do?

One thing's for sure, he'll play Bentaleb every minute of every game! <laugh>

In an ideal world I'd want us to challenge for 4th and Europa. I'd have a bigger smile on my face at the end of the season if we won Europa than came 4th though, yes it'd mean another season of not getting Champions League but nothing beats silverware.

As for Sherwood, he's done a good job. He's irked me and many others with his persistence of Bentaleb even when he's underperformed (though don't get me wrong, he's played great in some games), the sudden drop of Eriksen is weird, especially when there's no one else who can create and dictate tempo like he can seeing as Holtby was loaned out (whether I'm a fan of Holtby or not, he's the only player similar to Eriksen in our squad).

I'd like to see Chadli feature more, I know he's not the most popular amongst most but in recent games it looks as though his confidence has improved. His general build up play has been decent, he's started taking on full backs and he got a screamer against NUFC. HOPEFULLY, the Chadli of Twente is beginning to come through.

Chadli has a great cross on him too. He's been unlucky not to get more assists

  4. Does anyone else think that Sherwood is Bentaleb's dad?

    It would explain a lot.

Yeah, he's probably the only winger we have that can actually cross a ball. Up until his first injury near the start of the season, he'd created as many opportunities as Hazard but unfortunately we couldn't hit a barn door so his assists tally was non-existent.

I think that should read "if you asked most older footballers", the younger ones don't know any different, is all I'm saying. <ok>
