You say that but relationships and pressure play a big role.

See messi who's a world beater at club level but a bottler on the international stage. Same with aguero.

You seriously telling me players as professional as JT, lamps and Steven Gerrard was tanking for their managers (scolari, hodgson). Players go through form and confidence crisis but most recover from them.

No, the problems with Scolari and Hodgson were tactical. Neither manager had a clue! Nor a proven track record of winning PL titles.
They were not utilising the players to the best of their abilities.
That clearly wasn't the case with Jose at Chelsea, who had just won a PL title with the same squad who decided to down tools a couple months later.

Of course players go through dips in form, but to go from Champions to 10th isnt a dip in form so much as it is a refusal to play properly.
That isn't a dip in form is it.....

Happy new year to you all.

Was hoping Stan's new years resolution would be to stop being a tiresome 'know it all' bore but hey ho!

I really wanted a board ban to stop annoying all.

But looks like that is not possible.
If you all could Kindly add me to your ignore list, we don't have to deal with this boredom.

P.S. I am unable to add some of you to my ignore list due to issues on this website.

I think he's fractured his jaw from laughing so much. getting paid 85Gs to go to Cobham for a couple of hours a week for 2 years would put a big smile on anyones' dial.

Ballotelli is a very good comparison. Both are big heads, flash as a rat with a gold tooth types, all Rapper clothes, flash cars, gold chains, flaunt it kind of guys.
Why would God give talent to creeps like that?? Like putting all the oil in the Middle East, that went well.

Not sure I agree with your comparison.
Balo is a primadonna. Pog is not primadonna.

    What?!
Surely you are not talking about Paul Pogba?
Pogba is the embodiment of the word Primadonna, mate!

He would have lasted exactly one season at Fergie's United.

Possibly. In all honesty i wish we had a pogba in our team. Hes exactly the sort of marauding midfielder with skill we need

He is a good player, I have always said so, even when he was ineffectual for United.
And I would also have him at Chelsea......doesnt change the fact that he is a primadonna though :p

I have noticed a small, yet I think, significant difference displayed in Pogba's attitude since Jose went/Ole came, he has not had any stupid design painted or shaved in his hair.
He never had either during the World Cup too where he also played well. Perhaps it was an unconscious (or maybe intentional) signal to say look at me, I am better than being allowed to be.
Childish if true but I feel it has some significance in some small way.
