You don't think black people are victims of racism in America? It's much easier to thrive when you have a hand pulling you up. America has a serious problem with racism. Things don't change overnight. 100 years ago America had a problem with Irish and Italian gangs. Now it has problems with high crime among black populations. In 100 years time it will probably be some other group and people will be going on about how it's their own fault because of the colour of their skin, their religion etc. just like they do now. Just like they did 20 years ago. Just like they did 50 years ago. Just like they did 100 years ago.


The lyrics may change slightly (from country to country, through time etc.) but the tune stays the same.

 

But it only effected the British Empire, a lot of other countrie had Empires too and not all them ****s abolished.

It's under our noses but we fail or ignore it,diplomats's maids,brothels,cockle pickers etc and that's just the so called civil society.

I said that black people have had a **** time since they were brought over to America. After slavery ended, there was still a lot of institutional racism (slavery actually carried on for ages afterwards), and black people were still treated like 2nd class citizens until about 50 years ago. Different schools/buses/etc..., no decent employment prospects or any chance of getting out of the ****ty existence they were stuck with. They've had to enforce affirmative action laws and various other means to get black people into normal jobs.

They've not had a fair start. You conclude that black people are inferior and more prone to commit crimes

 

An estimated 40.3 million people were victims of modern slavery in 2016, a quarter of them children, according to new global slavery statistics released today.

The figures, from the UN’s International Labour Organisation (ILO) and the Walk Free Foundation, show 24.9 million people across the world were trapped in forced labour and 15.4 million in forced marriage last year. Children account for 10 million of the overall 40.3m total.

The 2017 Estimates of Modern Slavery report calculates that of 24.9 million victims of forced labour, 16 million are thought to be in the private economy, 4.8 million in forced sexual exploitation and 4.1 million in state-sponsored forced labour including mandatory military conscription and agricultural work.
