I really enjoy watching Spain/Barca sometimes. Their slick and precise one touch passing, movement and flicks is a joy to watch. Two very creative teams all over the pitch, even their defensive work is pleasing, where the majority of defenders would clear the ball up the pitch or hit it out for a throw, Spanish defenders more often turn and carry on possession even in tight situations. It depends on how their opposition turn out though as others have pointed out, if teams play like boring dull crap like last night it's going to make the game an eye sore. The one thing that frustrates me about Spanish teams is how slow they are to move up the pitch, I love watching fast counter attacks and there were examples last night where Silva especially broke down the flanks like lightning yet their players always choose the short easy option rather than a longer lofted pass over the defence for their attackers to run onto. The only time you see Spain do that is when their midfield is sat at the edge of the box and they play a little chip over the defence.
