Vinnie played for Holmsund apparently, though I can't think they've a very big team, Holmsund seems to be about the same size as North Ferriby.

And they are not ****e! :) Well, aint that good nowadays, but for a few years ago they were quality

Outplayed Juventus at Stadio Olimpico. Tobias Hysén (son to ex Liverpool-player Glenn Hysén) scores 2-0 in this clip. And we had other players such as Kim Källström (Lyon), Andreas Isaksson (PSV Eindhoven/National team)

They played **** at the home game an lost eventually, but anyway :)

They have got the wrong pic as the article says:

Yesterday, Sonny Bradley from Hull City on trial games for IK Frej. Sonny is primarily a central defender but can also play left back.

19-year-old Bradley Hull City belongs to reserve today but is expected to sign first team contract in the fall. Until then want to Hull City to lend Bradley. If you want to see young Bradley play, you should head to the training match on Wednesday against the Assyrian. Match start at 18:30 Sodertalje soccer stadium.

I have about 10 friends over in Sonderborg and Aarhus in Denmark who are all City mad. 1 of which is my best mate, and has actually been to Hull twice whilst he lived over here (got beaten up once, 50/50 odds I guess) but the others have never been anywhere but London. They even make up their own chants up in Danish because they dont know any of the proper ones! Bonkers.

so that is where he has gone. i wondered last night at the reserves? Having said that we do seem to have a production line of centre backs coming through. It was the first time I have seen the young lad Dean Lisles, who deputised last night and he did very very well till he got injured. Even scored a class header from a pinpoint cross. I have to say that until last night, I had never heard or seen of Dean. Sonny Bradley is an excellent prospect by the way and the complete change of scenery might do him good depending upon who is training IK Frej?

Oh god, that must sound awful :) Swedish is the "posher" language if you compare Swedish and Danish, its like comparing "normal" English with scouse. It kinda sounds like they have a hot potato showed down their throat :(

The question is why Swedish division 3 football is appealing to anyone. He should have come on the top league, would probably have been good enough to play in the lower ranked teams:smile:

According to wiki they're in the fourth tier, as a new third tier has just been created?

Well, depends on how u see it.
    Allsvenskan (Top League)
    Superettan
    Division 1 (North)
    Division 1 (South)

He will play in the Division 1 (North) I took a look at the league and there are some decent teams in it. Most of them are "farmer clubs" to the Allsvenskan-teams. I would rank IK Frej as the worst team in the league anyway

They are coached by Mike Lindström and Bartosz Grzelak, whoever they are.

I had to google them ^-^ Bartosz is 32 years old and works as a "playing manager".

The whole deal just seems odd, haha.

    Why Sweden?
    Why division 3?
    Why Frej?
    Etc etc

Ash spent some time at IR in Iceland early in his career, his goal to game ratio was actually pretty high if I remember... Good luck to Sonny, could be a confidence thing to make him the best player in a low level team, so he can carry the confidence through to the first team.

Ash scored three in eight with IR.

While Bradley was playing for our reserves, he was also playing on loan at Harrogate Town. From what Febbos has said, it seems that he'll be playing at a similar level and in front on similar crowds while he's in Sweden.

Well, the level is slightly higher than I said before (changed my mind when I saw which teams that actually plays in the league) The strikers in those leagues are often hungry youngster who wants to impress the "head club" in Allsvenskan, so I guess it will be a decent challenge for Sonny.

I've seen him maybe 5 times for the reserves, so I'm maybe not entirely qualified to comment, but he looked decent to me in all the games.
