WHY IS IT VITAL, as long as we stay in the Prem what difference is the extra few points, with this manager at the helm we will always be out of the pan into the fire, Wigan are no push overs, we are playing crap, don't get me wrong here i will cheer the lads on as always, but if we do lose at least now it wont come as such a shock to me, and with luck hasten the inevitable,

We all know Bruce's short comings now, indeed some of his tactical decisions have been woeful, a humiliation to the skunks watching that match was harder for me to bear than the Charlton premiership decider, all these long winless streaks, his cards marked now and has been found wanting.

As the years for me tick by for me, i crave one thing, just to see them stripes challenging and playing in Europe, its not going to happen with him at the helm is it. we need the next level manager. So if we lose Que Serra, it will only hasten his tenure.

God i hope your wrong, have you any inside information on this or is it just your gut feeling, Because before this new deal was signed there must have been performance related packages built in, they do it with the players and managers now.

Ellis is a ruthless businessman, and i will not be led to believe he will stick with a looser, as he wants his investments to expand not stagnate.

Amsterdamroger and cutey, if you get anymore chummy you'll be blowing each other.

One win. One win, and we'll rocket, and y'all will be loving Bruce again. Fickle fickle fickle little boys, I don't care if you've supported SAFC all your life or for the last 20 minutes, wishing them to loose is against the grain of what supporting is all about.

Yes, well your "chummy" line is just about what we're coming to expect from you.

If we get one win, it won't much matter whether we rocket or not. We're five points off the relegation zone, and have a fairly big lead in goal difference, too. So one win and I think we'll be off the hook. How far we "rocket" depends on what the teams above us do. But one way or the other, I won't be loving Bruce again. We had a dip in form last season and for 14 games he had no answers. This year, we've had a dip and he's got no answers again. I don't think he's good enough.

"Wishing them to lose is against the grain of what supporting is all about" - agreed. I did say "Mind you, I don't hope we lose." But no matter what another supporter thinks, it doesn't give you the justification to tell him to go somewhere else.

I thought the whole point of this forum, WAS ABOUT DEBATE,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, now roger has his oppinion, and I have mine, and you folks have yours. SO FAR SO GOOD?

now Roger wants BRUCE OUT,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,so far so good, HIS oppinion

now some of you folks chastise him for his oppinions, even berate him, in not so nice terms, so therefore your thoughts are all that matter, and not his,,,,,,with me so far?

now I have an oppinion, I also want Bruce out, I would like a manager who can manage, give me value for money, and end the misery I have experienced for the last fifty years, excepting 1973, so in debating terms is my oppinion any less worthy than yours/,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,and do you want YOUR fifty years to be wasted, always looking forward to next season, ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,dont think so.............debate dont degrade.

If we are in a relegation fight then so are all the teams except for the top eight. Losing on Saturday is not an option. I think maybe another 9 points is possible

I'm not sure about Bruce, questions need asking but I will be there on Saturday doing my bit to help us get that win, however.

We have thousands of Sunderland fans, all with opinions, all with views and we are allowed,I hope, to voice those views. We are also allowed, I hope, to argue our corner. No need to fall out over it.

All in red is fine, its your opinion and you are entitled to it. But why the rest to fellow Sunderland fans who dont agree?

It shows. Read their comments from a few months ago, they loved Bruce. Now they hate him. Thats fickle, its not an opinion its a fact.

This is my point entirely. The team consists of Bruce, he is the manager. I'm sure you all know how much I dislike Henderson. But never ever have I said "I hope he fails as a professional", as that goes against the grain of what supporting is about, as I mentioned above.

A lot of people on these boards have changed their minds about Bruce this Spring. That's because they've seen the same lack of answers two seasons in a row now. Before January, they hadn't seen that. So their "fickleness" is NOT a fact at all. What it means is they've kept abreast of events.

I disagreed with what Maddison said at the head of this board (and said so). But I'd prefer to read his thought-provoking posts than yours, which show nothing but an arrogant contempt for everyone but yourself. Get a grip, man.

I've highlighted the bits I thought you'd find the most interesting. Fickle is fickle, there is no argument.
