Whether Grabham gets to play again is very much dependant upon the form and fitness of our other forwards.

If either Lafferty or Thanks to God get a sniff and then bang in a couple of goals then it will be a long way back for him. The problem he will have is that the first sitter he misses he will get slaughtered and he is as we all know the sort of player who gets into a lot of good goal scoring positions but has a relatively poor conversion rate. If he comes off the bench in a couple of weeks and nets a crucial goal and celebrates like he's won the lottery then I imagine much will be forgiven.

I think if Lafferty is given a go on Saturday he will have an awful lot of support behind him - if it were me picking the squad he'd definitely be in it on Saturday with Jerome (assuming we'll only play one up top)..

Graceful? It's just a bog standard apology. Probably downloaded from one of many others that had gone before.

Glad you are all so forgiving, it does you proud. Personally, I wished he'd been shipped out, but hey ho, wasn't to be. Disgraceful, unprofessional behaviour, doesn't seem like he's particularly keen to be here, but that's just my opinion.

He's still here, so as you say, let's see.
I still would have liked him to go in the transfer window, but that's no longer possible and we're stuck with him. But everyone deserves a second chance and since he's still a NCFC player I would rather forgive and forget and support the players rather than get on their back.

As I said, let's see. <ok>

As you all know, I'd prefer that he weren't here at all. But if he is going to be rehabilitated, I think it's the right decision not to play him against Bournemouth today at least. Pressure situations don't seem to bring out the best in him.

The video at the bottom of this article gives the most information I've seen about the Bradley Johnson affair, starting at the approach of 3 minutes in!
As a lover of theories, conspiracy or otherwise, I notice Alex Neil said "Bradley has got all the attributes to be a top player in the championship" - in other words, not really good enough for where NCFC are now.
But, hey, we already knew that from the ill-fated Hootun era.

Makes sense although he does make it sound like Jarvis coming in was planned well ahead and therefore a contributing factor to BJ leaving when Jarvis himself sounded like it was ALL very last minute.

Yep. It still just doesn't quite add up. And I know he has to say it, but for me £5.75m for Johnson is not "top value".

But it's clear we are getting nothing more so I guess we just have to move on

I don't know for sure, but maybe it was looked at "if all else fails" so not acted upon until the very last minute! <ok>

Not the most positive way of viewing our new signing!

"Welcome to the club Matty, you're only here because we failed to get everyone else we wanted..."

I'd imagine there were several contingency signings planned "in case". Wouldn't be surprised if there was a right sided player in mind in case Liverpool or another came in for Redmond too. In fairness good planning.
