I heard an announcement was going to be made on behalf of Ipswich - Magilton's been sacked! You heard it here first..........
Nah, never will happen. That's like saying we'll never sign Rudi Skacel. Well I'll have you know, we already have..! How about that then..? [video=youtube;xEtJP1V6T-U]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xEtJP1V6T-U[/video] I've always liked this adaptation.
No these have been at games that have been on the TV b4. they are there so that if there is any goal line drama then they can see. these where only there for the television.
Aha, it's a football final, isn't it..? The Southern Area Playoff Spinoff [thank you, Mr Palin] something or other, and they are testing goal line technology during it, because St Marys is the test stadium for the Hampshire based company's system - Hawkeye. Sadly, I've got a sneaky feeling the rival German system might be a tad better - Goalref, I think it's called. Mind you, it depends upon sensors being embedded in the ball [not a chip in the exact middle], which might prove its undoing. The Hawkeye system is tested and proven in other sports. In a spinoff system, it can even predict where a ball will go. The football match I'm talking about [just looked it up] is the Hampshire FA’s Senior Cup Final between Eastleigh FC and AFC Totton, to be held at St Marys on Wednesday 16th May, so maybe Hawkeye is being properly introduced to the Sports Press, prior to that test game. That's my guess anyway. http://www.fcbusiness.co.uk/news/ar... fa game to host goal line technology testing
