    Riots over London, Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool. Think how many homes have been burnt down, how many shops too. Unemployment is gonna shoot through the roof and so many people are gonna be left homeless. Rebuilding the cities and supporting those who have been affected by this will cost so much.

    I know people in Isleworth where it's supposed to be a nice area but they won't be feeling too safe either. A guy I knew as a kid lived in the Tottenham area till just recently but moved down to Southampton.

    I bet he's pleased about that.

    For anyone who was around then, is this worse or on a greater scale than the riots in the 80s? At least then there was more of a reason or point to make, now it's mostly just pointless violence and looting..

    They should get Cwarr to spread some **** about anyone seen covering their face with goggles, masks and the like will be shot with rubber bullets on sight.
    That should sort the fookers out once and for all.
    Or maybe an easier way would be for the government to allow the police to start cracking some heads...

    What are the army supposed to do? Can't go around shooting folk for theft & vandalism.

    That said I'm glad I moved out of North London to the booneys earlier this year. Though we didn't escape entirely, apparently several cases of poaching and sheep rustling last night.
