I think his comments on the BFP show even more how clueless Waddock is in terms of management. “Every time there’s a set play you think there’s an opportunity for them to score." - if you know this why not work on set piece defending a bit more? Our lack of use of attacking set pieces I think emphasizes how little he understands the impact of them and how they can get you out of trouble when you aren't playing well. "Bournemouth and tonight, we didn’t see that coming. A couple of weeks ago we thought we’d turned a corner because we’d played well and picked up some results.” - Surely after the Bournemouth match he could have seen that coming, especially with our recent performances against Huddersfield and the form of Rhodes. Did he just think things would sort themselves out in the few days since Bournemouth? However the one thing I have always admired about Waddock is that he never criticizes the fans. Mr Lambert and others always had a tendency to whinge at fans when attendances were low and was some criticism of the team. However, Waddock still praised the fans after last night. He also doesn't try to apportion blame, he accepts its his team and he is responsible for it. However, not enough to keep him in the job in my eyes!!
I hope I am not a jinx as the only two times I have found an online stream in Peru I have suffered Fleetwood and now this... Are we really that bad ??? Here's a cynical thought. How many players have their contracts up for renewal in June/July? And how many of them have more chance of getting a renewal if we are league two rather than league one?
it may be you peru, those are our worst 2 performances of thsi season by a mile! if the players are good enough to keep us up in l1, if they had a big involvement then they will gain a new contract if they are **** then they shouldnt get a new contract, L1 or 2
I have to agree with most of what has been posted I think the only positive were the home supporters who kept going and singing even at 6. Our lads behind the goal deserve a medal.
Do you think you might be tempted then Peru? Might be worth checking the score beforehand. I think I'm beginning to look forward to being in the Conference and doing some giant killing and maybe winning more league matches.
I'll wait until we are 2 or 3 up with 5 minutes to play before I look in the future... so that should probably rule out any matches this season.
Sean O'Driscoll might be a good bet. Turned Bournemouth round and had Doncaster punching above their weight for a long time.
