Tired of going over all the same old crap.

Jimmy is a talented but injury prone player, who's on at least double the money he should be and he doesn't want to play for us. Anyone who can't see that it's the best interests of Hull City AFC that he moves on, is a sandwich short of a picnic.

Haven't had much say on this matter myself, but I'm going to get it off my chest because it means I won't have to reply to it again. Sorry if this disturbs the beast, but I've held back for quite a while.

Bullard: If he wants to stay (he clearly doesn't, but IF) then fine, he can show better attitude in training and play better. If not, then he can **** off. The reality of the situation is, he isn't going to play for us again. Why? Because he isn't as good as Evans, Danns or Cairney. In fact, I remember posting on 606 questioning whether he was actually any good anyway. His price tag gave the illusion that he would be a superstar, but aside from a few memorable Fulham moments, he never appeared to be more than a slightly better Michael Brown. We managed to survive in the Premier League without him and the season we went down (correct me if I'm wrong, which I could well be) he made more appearances. He had good short bursts, but consistantly he isn't good enough for me (or NP). You would have thought dropping down to The Championship would have made it easier, but he just didn't want to know. You say you would have Bullard over Danns, Ayala etc, but then say Jimmy stayed and did his knees in again, who would take his place? Nobody, the wage bill can't take on any more playing staff because Billy Big Bollocks Bullard is still on £45,000 a week. He did well at Ipswich because he had fresh surroundings, a manager he likes and was playing first team football, none of which he has here. He has come back to a completley different squad to when he left and he will be gone in the next few weeks. The club can offer him a mutual termination with a little compensation or we can pay it off and cut our losses. Either will suit me.

AP: I'll never understand why you think he is taking the club backwards. He was brought in AFTER the damage was done, there was no transfer window to bring in players, no investment and no money. Yes he brought in Dowie, but for the wages (yes, the staff are on the same wage bill as the players) we were offering, who were you expecting long term? Bartlett did point out (as did AP when he returned) that we had contigency plans in place should we go down and was given a strict policy to stick to. Remember, AP has returned as a staff member, not as a director or board member, therefore he does what he is told by the owner. Once down, we brought a new squad, which took longer than I thought to gel, but it's about getting the tactics right. We had a wicked unbeaten run (including that 17/18 match unbeaten away record that went back to September) and it gives positivity to next season. Watch the signings flow, I GUARANTEE we will sign at least two players better than Jimmy. If my sources are correct, you will be....pleasantly surprised....

Anyway, that's my piece on the topic, argue/leave alone at your discretion.

I know I'm going to regret this again, but:-

Mostly we accept that Jimmy is a good player but we continue to argue about his fitness and committment. So, can anyone (OLM?) say how many games we have played since buying him and how many of those he has been fit for? How many has he played in where he has only played part of the game because he came on injured or went off injured?

How true are the rumours about his "extra curricula" activities? Has anyone on here PERSONALLY seen him pissed, drugged up, buying or selling drugs or women, fighting little old ladies, roasting Hull wannabees. etc

But Pearson denies Bullard's claims and said: "His wages are obviously very, very high but no professional footballer takes a pay cut.

"I keep hearing about pay-cuts but I've never heard of that in my life. I don't understand why a player would take a pay cut.

"He's got another two years and that has a value to it so I'm sure that any player wouldn't be leaving for a penny less."

If the daily fail are correct in their assertion that the club are prepared to let Jimmy Bullard leave on a free transfer, then Adam Pearson should make a definitive statement to this effect. The club have some value in this contract as they may be able to loan the player out and recieve loan fee's. However you can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink. I think it unlikely that any club would wish to pay a transfer fee for a player who is uninsureable so the only method for the club to recoup some money is via loan deals. If the club have a preference for a complete severing of all ties then a free transfer and a negotiated settlement would be the only way to cut the clubs liability going forward.

Nick HCAFC, I have a feeling that many people feel the same as you. I myself just want what is best for the club and surely that is for the two parties to settle in order that a parting of the ways can take place. If we continue to pay Jimmy Bullard and not play him then he is taking up money from the playing budget and preventing the ability of the squad to increase and develop. The club cannot force him to go anywhere as they found out about two and a bit million quid ago. They cannot sell him. They have not found a reason to sack him (yet). So basically pay him his money for him to play for us. Pay him his money for him to not play for us, or have a deal if you can. Is anyone involved looking for deal here? or are they all happy with the status quo. If the club are seeking a deal they need to give Mr Bullard the chance to seek another one. One thing Mr Bullard cannot do is make a statement to the effect of, "I will never play on loan for another club again under any other circumstances" even if that were the case.

I feel that Adam pearsons handling of the Bullard situation last year was something he could learn from. There is one major difference this year though, last year there was no possibility of paying up the contract, this time around there is and there is £2 million plus less on the total.

I don't want Bullard playing for my club, just like I don't want King back at the club. Awful people.

I think 5 Man Utd youngsters would help us get out of the Championship. I keep thinking how well the reserves do in the CC cup when Fergie plays them!
