How much difference do we think Snodgrass would have made to us had he been fit ? We'll never know but I believe he would have been more productive than what we have. If we do go down, will Bruce still be our manger next season ? Yes. What do we think the Allams do if we get relegated ? They have no option but to stay with the Club. Which players do we think will (a) Jump Ship ? I don't think any would jump but some would be pushed. (b) Be sold ? Robertson and Chester would receive offers from the top level and I would expect they would take them. The only way we would sell Hernandez is if the prospective buyer had a deaf and dumb Guide Dog. Couldn't see any of our players being offered a better deal than what they have now. (c) Will stay and fight to get us promoted again ? All of them. If we do stay up what lessons need to be learned from this season ? That we have failed miserably down the wings and in the final third so we will need to improve. Would a decent European Campaign have helped the players Psyche ? I doubt it.
So, in spite of you stating that it was a FACT that a name change would benefit us you cannot post anything to substantiate that assertion? Full of hot air. Empty vessels and all that...
I have been there all the way through from the sixties, including the days of 2,000 crowds. As has Tubby Lsrd and others I know. That is the difference between some and the pro name change brigade who reckon they have been fans for 50 years. What they mean is they went when Waggy was here and apart from the odd cup games disappeared until we moved to the KC. Now they sit there telling fans who want to get behind the team to sit down and be quiet.
there aren't any pro name changers.. there are those against and those that aren't bothered. this US and THEM is really a tiring argument. George W Bush tried the same argument with his 'Shock And Awe' invasion of Iraq. says a lot about your intelligence if you can't find a better argument than he came up with.
I barely went to a game from the early 80's to the late 90's(after moving to London), so I missed our lowest crowds, though I never tell anyone to sit down and shut up.
There are some pro name changers. Not as many as some deluded posters think but some state that a name change would bring benefits but when asked to show any evidence to support this assertion duck and dive or ignore the request. Those that aren't bothered more in the camp of being Premier League fans than City fans. You trying to belittle someone else's intelligence could be put in a textbook to illustrate irony.
whatever son. But the 'US and THEM' mentality is really jarring. Sure people can't come up with a valid argument for, same as people can't can't come up with a valid argument against - one that doesn't involve them wringing their knickers out, when they have finished.
One valid argument against us that is a stupid idea. Another is that no research has been done into, whether it would bring any benefits. Which proves it is a stupid idea. The fact that no research has been done means there is nit one bit of proof that it will bring any benefits. Which also proves it is a stupid idea.
So comparing someone's intelligence to George Bush's isn't trying to do anything with anyone's intelligence? Can you walk and chew gum at the same time?
this 'not606' board isn't doing much for your blood pressure. I know that you're old, calm down fella, you seem very angry.
