We all make mistakes, I have contacted at least 4 members in the past on here asking if I have upset them as I have read a post different to how it was meant. I have apologised openly when I have been wrong.

I have also received some nice PM's from members that pleasantly surprised me, ones along similar lines of clarification. Even when Leeds60 was warned, when he admitted to other members that he sought trouble, he didn't once have the decency to say I am sorry, instead he continued to act the victim.

Anyway, he is banned now, he can't reply to anything so I feel it only fair that I end it there. I wasn't going to reply on this thread but I wasn't sure if WJ meant me included with the "all other contributors".

Sorry, missed your post somehow, Bucks. I appreciate what you're saying, but I'd like you to consider the questions I'm asking. Not receiving a mail is only one of the questions. I think they are all valid (apart from the snipey bits )

Agreed, but you need to be seen to be acting in a consistent manner. You (collectively) haven't. Did Elmo / Sheldon get a 1 week ban followed by a life ban? I think not, so there's an inconsistency for a start.

 

Crikey! Yes! I meant answers for us all - no exceptions or finger pointing, just simple answers so we were all well informed, rather than the 'masonic' practices we seem to have presently. It could be argued that if you don't have the right handshake ...

Please don't knee jerk into that on the request of one perhaps two posters.... The place has run fine for three years, Lets not throw the baby out with the bath water. The banter is what makes this site, but it's done in a way where everyone gives as good as they get and they recognise the point of no return. If a line is crossed conversations are had without intervention and boundaries are respected . If not a short ban should always be enough of a warning to anyone to moderate their posts. Sadly this time it wasn't.
