To further my point, when the Manchester United Vs Liverpool result came through at our half time, a woman who was a little further down my row began to celebrate... Just 'Premier League' fans who only want Hull city back there to see the opposition.

The one that annoys me most is when people moan that a player doesn't shoot when in a good position, even though it's blatantly obvious there is a defender stood in front who would block any shot. You have to make the space to shoot but some people just don't understand that.

To be honest football these days is very formulaic and more often than not teams either cancel each other out or play containing football. For a solid workmanlike team like us it becomes hard to breakdown other sides because we don't really have the flair players to do it. I know we have Stewart / Brady on the wings but it is only recently that any consistent supply has come from them. I'd go as far to say that Brady has upped his performances of late whilst Stewart is badly out of form, seems lost in games and is making poor decisions.

Also most of us sit higher than the pitch level, so we can see a player in space who looks to be in a great postion to receive a long 40 yard pass from the defence or the other side of the pitch. In our heads we could all do this, but on the pitch with a couple of players stood in the line of the pass or with one breathing down your neck, it's much more difficult. The top players can do this more often and this is why they are top players, playing for the top teams.

There is a saturation of football on TV, the internet etc and most of it is Premier League football. The camera angles, super slo-mo and replays can make most of the action look better than it is. So when you've just watched the second half of a pulsating Premier League match on the concourse before the game you actually came to see, then I suppose it is to be hoped / expected that we are going to be treated to the same. More often than not though, we win the game by the odd goal after not looking in any danger of losing and after creating a host of chances and personally I'm ok with that.

People have moaned for as long as I can remember but expectations seem disproportionately higher these days for some reason and instant gratification is demanded, that may be more of a social commentry though. I must confess I don't enjoy going to City as much as I did due to having to listen to some of the crap that people come out with.

I agree with this completely. But I would add one more thing. The level of football analysis after every game has turned us into a armchair experts. Because we listen to Lineker and co every week we feel qualified to shout out technical advice and berate players who didnt listen to us. (despite being 40+ yards away!) And if that **** who sits behind me shouts "SWITCH! SWITCH!" again, I'll get even more pissed off with him!

I can understand people getting annoyed at stray passes, don't care if we are 4 nil up we shouldn't be pleased with giving the ball away.
The worst offender is Hobbs, his passing forward is woeful, good defender but his distributin is a joke, just watch, he is dreadful.

Yep, there was someone just like that in West Lower W4. Prior to the subs he was constantly whinging about how awful Fryatt was. Until he scored when he went strangely quiet. However, as soon as the subs appeared he started up again about how awful the tactics were. I didn't hear ONE positive thing from him all game, despite the convincing win. He's been there for many a season though - previously it was always Ash, every game without fail that he abused.

And here in TIGERS3, we get to see close up for ourselves, evidence of the moaning, clueless,i wanna be in the premier league or i won't come any more, dick head type that you can see and hear around you at the KC and grounds around the country.

It doesn't know the first thing about football outside of motd, and probably wants us to sign Messi. It thinks the team should score 6 goals every game. It's that Fukwit sat behind you !

You total twat K. Klutz (A good name) So we are doing well, it doesn't mean we can't have an opinion on our weakness's does it.
I guess by your name you have been watching a few years, so watch Hobbs and then post and tell me he distributes the ball well.
Or maybe you don't understan the word "opinion"

Hobbs distribution of the ball isn't the best Ts3,i agree. His defending though,is outstanding ! But the gist of my reply to your post, comes from the fact that. HEY ! WE JUST WON THREE NOWT ! Maybe a little more positivity next time eh ? Fuk !

    sums them up..

This is one of the BEST City teams for decades in terms of talent & ability.. I know Brown got us promoted to the Pl but apart from a brief fling a lot of the stuff they offered was dire, Taylor's teams were inherently dull, Dolan's nevermind, Brian Little wasn't given long enough, Molby was shyte, Horton's was pretty decent, I'm too young for the Waggy era but I bet we're not far off.. I've seen clips, the style is different etc but Barmby's team plays top football week in week out.

Winning 3 nil, brilliant, but we've won nothing yet. I am positive we have a good team, I am not positive we can't get even better.
Incidentally I was watching City in the late fifties and ever since, hardly one of your "Jonny come latelies". But am allowed an opinion as I have probably spent more money on Tiger watching then you have.....mostly in the lower leagues.

I think at 2-0 up, we should relax as fans believing that with our defence doing so well this season, that we see the game out with maybe an extra goal or 2 added on later in the game, but the odd comment around where i sit, mentioned the Burnley game and if we let them get one back, they might get 2, we could and should scored more goals yesterday but did enough to secure the points, from another view point, they hit the post / crossbar and chester cleared 2 off the line, so could have been a completely different scoreline.

i like most on here would love to see us become more clinical and turn the masses of chances we create into more goals, because i fully believe that promotion is there for the taking if we do, Fryatt and Mclean look a little nervous at times and just need a run of games with goals to give them confidence and belief.

I,m happy with yesterday but just for once, i,d love to see us give a opposition a real hammering, highest city score for me was 7-1 v Crewe and 8-4 v Whitby, would love a big big score.

was talking to a mate who,s a man city fan and he mentioned having been at the city V Huddersfield game when they won 10-1, i think he said that 3 different players score hatricks,

Tbh i think we all have someone sat near us who blamed everything on Ash. The guy who sat behind me still blames it on Ash, i just used to start the Old O Ian Ashbee chant every five minutes, i think he got my point.

Our tactics at times with substitutes aren't great as we tend to bring strikers on for wingers which is just makingthings narrow and poor. It annoys me and i do go on about it at times, but i don't criticise Nick as we don't have any other wingers so he has to do it for fresh legs.
