I broke my nose in the fulwell corner running to the shop for a pie before the game new years day 1991! Ran straight into one of the red barriers!! Knocked myself out and missedf the game (I was 15!) Kevin Ball scored a penalty in the 31st minute against Southampton - remember more about that game than most I was at! and I missed the lot!!

Has jerry always lived in the same house? You dont get any closer to roker park than harrtington street.
Can anyone find the photo of when roker park was bombed by the germans. I do believe a policeman died during that raid. Obviously thought it was something to do with the shipyards or just way of target.
Nah man, she grew up in Pennywell & then moved to Ford Estate. She buggered of to uni in Nottingham & then lived in London before moving back up here.
I broke my wrist at the back of the fullwell in the 1st few minutes against Palace in the Milk cup. Crowd surged forward and i got pushed up against one of those red barriers. Was in agony for just about the whole game lol. That will have been 1984 cos it was the start of our cup run to wembley. Memories eh...

Have you clicked the link? I'm confused as to why Roker park isn't on it. Stadium of light is so I take it the pit was bombed.
I used to frequently drink in the Gluepot back in the day. It's an Italian restaurant now. There used to be two brothers get in there who were in bands. One was in Red Alert & the other one was in Red London. Shared many a pint with them lads, ****ing good blokes too. Happy days.
I know the gluepot from many a year ago. One of the first places i had an underage pint. Under the Roker hotel. Them bands used to often play in the old 29.
