What contacts do we expect him just to 'have'. Lets have a look at the managers he may have played under that could give him some of the most obvious (to us) contacts: Tottenham: Peter Shreeves, Doug Livermore & Ray Clemence, Ossie Ardiles, Steve Perryman, Gerry Francis Middlesbrough: Bryan Robson Everton: Joe Royle, Dave Watson, Howard Kendall, Walter Smith Liverpool: Gerrard Houlier Leeds: Terry Venables, Peter Reid Nottingham Forest: Joe Kinnear Hull City: Peter Taylor, Phil Parkinson, Phil Brown, Iain Dowie, Nigel Pearson From that list only Peter Taylor, Phil Brown and Nigel Pearson are still involved in football clubs as managers at this moment in time and Ray Clemence and Gerry Francis as coaches. Although previous managers aren't the only possible contacts they would definitely help. I just worry about this 'he will have contacts' argument.
