Yeah I agree but the number of artists that actually do stadium tours these days are slim, there's far more money in hosting arena tours. Would be nice to have one or two in the summer though.
Dart's seems to be attracting big crowns. We have a few boxers coming good who'll outgrown Ice Arena. Then there's show like Dancing On Ice who do tours. Hopefully the promotion company put charge of it have good contacts.
I dont know if its a typo or not but it quotes an 8000 arena, then later a 5000 capacity. I dont like a source either why isnt it our estimable TG quoting this. highly suspicious of an olympic size swimming also. They were only talking of closing Ennerdale a few months ago.
If it isn't a typo most likely that it would be 8k capacity for a concert and then 5k for say an Ice hockey match were the floor space would be utilised by the pitch
