I know, I expected Hull to be in the lower reaches of the table too. Difference being I care very little about your pathetic club compared to you and us. You're on here like fly to **** whenever you get a result. Bit pathetic if you ask me, a real small club's attitude. Lets see if you're still here come the end of the season, eh?
Hull have got two tricky away games now, we have two very winnable matches at home. Will be a different story this time next week.
Bit of a stupid post AKCJ. Hull City are NOT a pathetic small time club .... In my opinion BOTH Hull City And Leicester City are Decent Clubs and about equal in standing at present ... So we are above you .. That means nothing in this league as gangsta says a couple of wins or a couple of defeats can soon change that .. I don't get why there should be any bad feelings between our supporters . I always hope we are higher then everyone else but if we are not it's not the end of the world .. Good luck Leicester City .... But of course most of all ...... COME ON U ULL. .
They still have some very good players We battered them there but Jack Butland made 3 or 4 world class saves to keep them in it
I love it when people like AKCJ keep making comments that come back to bite them on the arse. Never learn ... Small club, that's us, love it.
You wouldn't? We lost away at Charlton and they have two points fewer that Brum. And didn't you lose to Peterborough? For as poor as Birmingham have been, they're only nine points below you. Could be even less by the time you play them. They've picked up 11 of those 19 points at home. They're quite capable of beating you. In this league, the home side is often the favourite - it seems to be away form that makes the difference between doing well and finishing in midtable. You should know better than to take anything for granted young Charlie.
Other supporters call us a small time Club pretty much on a regular basis, but that's only because we didn't win any silverware in our History. You see, back then, when we were scraping at the bottom of what was Division 3, fair enough, that may have been the case. It's now 2012, we have a new Stadium, we went from League 2 to the Premier League in 5 years, we've established ourselves as a top 10 side in the Championship the last 2 years, we have wealthy owners and we'll probably be back in the Premier League quite soon. The problem with other supporters is, they live in the past and therefore look in the past to judge a team even though the team they're judging is probably doing better than them in the League. E.G. Leeds: They love living in the past, and are still adament that they are the top side in Yorkshire when really, in the last 10 years, we are. It's just getting used to the new shape of things which is obviously the problem with some fans.
That's not what he said. He just said we'd been more successful in the past ten years. Which we have.
But isn't that exactly the point? One club started from the bottom of the football league and made it to the Premier League and stayed there for a season, the other fell off a cliff. Leeds United 2003–2004: Premier League 2004–2005: Championship 2005-2006: Championship 2006-2007: Championship 2007–2008: League One 2008-2009: League One 2009-2010: League One 2010-2011: Championship 2011-2012: Championship 2012-2013: Championship Hull City 2003–2004: League Two 2004–2005: League One 2005-2006: Championship 2006-2007: Championship 2007–2008: Championship 2008-2009: Premier League 2009-2010: Premier League 2010-2011: Championship 2011-2012: Championship 2012-2013: Championship
.. with you Freddy ... we shouldn't let our relatively new 'rivalry' with our trigger friends cloud our judgement ... Hull, Swansea, Norwich, Southanpton, QPR, Reading to mention but a few have all been more successful than Leeds (and us) over the last few years ... the beauty of football, however, is it's unpredictability ... classic example is the Cardiff Swansea dynamic .... Cardiff have flirted with the prem for the last 5 years and also got to a League Cup (let's give it its' proper name!) Final ... Swansea by contrast were, at one point moments away from a drop into the conference and were notable only for having a fat scouser with a comedic name (Lee Trundle) who could bang them in on his day .... look now ... a fairly meteoric rise through the divisions culminating in a very attractive, more than capable, Prem side, playing in a modern stadium before 20k crowds and being managed by one of football's 'modern greats' ... who'd have thought it? .. which is why I am expecting to win the Champions League within the next 5 years
