With common-sense , I don't need a ticket in my hat like some to try to justify ill will toward managers , including Curtis . You know what you can do with your ticket though ....

That's a bit below the belt, we now those of us who live in the Swansea/Gower area can get to the match, but flying over from Canada every game is not realistic now is it?

Have you taken your good pills this morning?.........<whistle>

Nah, Phill. It's just that Roof has been picking a fight for weeks now (ask Valley) and below the belt it may be - but thoroughly deserved. <ok> Same old story I'm afraid. Unless we're ****ing over managers there's always a group who cause problems. I remember Vetch's points regarding Monk on this. Who was right in the end? It'll hurt you to admit it but you know the answer.

We're all Swans fans but this forum has a reputation for a pack mentality - it always has done. Don't raise criticism as you're disloyal. Don't point out flaws or you're not a true fan. TLF, myself and others have already put up with this since yesterday. That's why you've caught me a bit prickly. <laugh> But you can only push people so far before they snap.

Tossbags like Roof who take that view and sit behind their keyboard but don't actually support the Club and never have done deserve every comeback. I'm sure the Club's coffers will swell with his 'common sense'. <laugh>

One question - what the **** happened to Breezy? Now he was a good guy! :)

There is something that tells me that guldo is not right for us and would be better suited with Italian football than the fast pace football we play here. I am glad he came here though as he is a lovely guy and a breath of fresh air and is keen but i feel we would have got the same results under Curtis TBH..........There are signs that tell me that he wont be able to cope with a full season as he do make some odd decisions when we are on the back foot and some of his Subs have had me scratching my head. Like i say i like him but we really need an experienced Younger manager who understands the premiership and the modern game today.

I don't have any issues with criticism or view points, it's all about opinions at the end of the day, doesn't matter to me who is right or wrong, just how we go about it that matters in my mind, anyway some want the 'Tea Lady' back, some want Franco & Curt to remain, at the end of the day both options will see us progress.

As you have mentioned Monk, it's just my observation that we have persisted with 'his' diamond formation that has given this negative game view with some fans, I see us moving away from this diamond that Monk introduced, and it will only be used in limited situations, I see Curt and Franco going back to how we have traditionally played, I'm not a fan either of the midfield Diamond, it can easily be overrun with some teams as Curt has found out. The Chelsea Game, and the second half at Arsenal showed our strength of style, that's what we will build on with Rodgers or the current team.............<ok>

I think there's a time and a place for the diamond. Didn't Monk switch to it mid-game to wrong-foot Man U? But for me it was not necessary yesterday at the 84th minute even though I can see the alternative argument. That doesn't mean I'm "****ting on Guidolin" as per Roof's comment. <grr> Think I need that last bottle of beer in the fridge to cool off. <laugh>

Brendan was the manager that played the diamond formation and he was very successful at doing it. We would always start at the back and work our way forward with fast slick passing where the ball was continually played on the ground. We would never see the keeper hoof the ball up the pitch like we have seen a few times this season as under Brendan we were very confident starting at the back with every player very confident on the ball......

I can very well dragon. he also was the one who introduced three captains one official on the pitch with ash and one unofficial with Leon calling the shots in midfield and it worked. And then we had the club captain who was Monk who would get the players hyped up and ready in the dressing room....

Think your over reacting there a bit Kiff. Some like Guidolin and say so but I haven't read anyone describing him as the messiah. I think the vast majority us, you and me too I think, are feeling more relieved than euphoric and are waiting to see what he gives us over the next five games.

Dai what I do remember with Rodgers was his experiment with 3 at the back against Wolves, at the end of the season, who had a field day, we only just managed to salvage the game with a draw...........<laugh>

Yeah, he did Phill, in our first season in the prem. We weren't as versed in it then so it probably looked like something else but I recall him saying he was employing the diamond in a post match interview on MOTD. Said he was using it to improve ball retention and passing. Thing is the diamond kept moving backwards in them old days.

I don't understand this negative Italian view, just look at the job Claudio Ranieri has done. Not saying Guido will achieve anything like that but you must realise that its still early days for him. hopefully he'll show us more of Saturdays performance in the remains fixtures.

Brendan Rodgers will do a job I think, but I'd personally like to see what Guidolin can do with a summer transfer window and a pre season to prepare.

This is a valid comment that i cant disagree with but its just a gut feeling with me that im unconvinced about his ability as some of his tactical and sub decisions have left me bewildered....Anyway we wont have any say in the matter and what ever the club decides i will back because whether it is Guildo,Brendan or anyone else they will all be judged by the fans on how they are doing after a number of games....
