Sadly Ole wont have enough time to have an impact on the training ground. A week of Ole and Cardiff win easily. I really am in disbelief how the UKs biggest club has appointed this disaster of a manager. Andreas Cornelius 1st signing.
That very statement underlines the fact that that's what you are. How can you possibly even make a comment like that without ever having encountered him in print or in person? Assumptive ****pig
He’s ridiculously negative and if he’s anything like how you present him on here he thinks his opinion is gospel because he writes articles about sport. Maybe you are misrepresenting him.
His text to me yesterday evening on the appointment of Solskjaer was unambiguous. He loves your club and can't believe what they've come to.
I don't speak for every United supporter out there obviously but the word embarrassing is very unlikely to be used by the vast majority of them. I don't know your mate but he comes across as if he thinks he knows everything about the club and speaks for everyone and it's all clearly bollocks. Being a reporter does not elevate you above others by way of knowledge of the club you support or indeed football itself. You only have to watch Sunday Supplement to know that, most of them talk and know absolutely jack ****e. Most United supporters want someone to see the season out and make sure the next manager is recruited correctly. This means the club aren't rushing it after knee jerk sackings, which is what they've clearly done previously in employing the nearest available out of work big name. I'd stick my neck out to say that 95% of United fans are happy to see Solskjaer back and are happy to see how he does, with no pressure to win the CL or get top four as both are unrealistic. Your mates opinion, with that in mind, is pretty much irrelevant.
It was his own opinion, Rufflad. He wasn't claiming to speak for the entire range of supporters. I can tell you he's a lifelong and match-going (when feasible) supporter who loves his club as much as he hates LIverpool, which despite our long friendship, is huge.
Well then I don't understand his view that Solskjaer is embarrassing. Who was he expecting? Who does he want long term? Anyone looking at this with any logic can see that we now have a short term caretaker, who has worked at the club before and has absolute fan backing, who can take care of affairs while due diligence is carried out in appointing the long term new manager.
