What annoys me about these type of arguments as that people get angry at the wrong people. It's not the foreign worker's faults that they might take jobs that british people out of work could be taking. They are just doing the best for them and their families, as anyone else would do. If you want anyone blame the government for the immigration policy.

Regardless i think the main drain on the economy is those on the dole with no intention of even looking for work or those performing benefit fraud.

It annoys me to see "jobseekers" buying PS3s and other luxuries. Sometimes it's not the law that needs changing, it's people's attitudes.

I am not going tocarry on any political argument other than to say the 2 above posts cover my view. I don't blame any 'foreigner'. they are doing what I would do in their situation. I blame it on governments allowing it to happen. Similarly it is modern culture that believes they 'should have' everything and that they should be offered a higher wage before they considering crossing their doorstep to got work.

I am far from being a bigot though. This is one other problem with modern society. Anyone with an opinion on a PC issue is labelled Xenophobic, racist, sexist, homophobic etc.

So I agree they aren't 'stealing' the jobs. they are just taking advantage of the law which UK government allowed to pass. I just get so angry when anyone claims that they are not enabling 'cheaper' labout because the companies are abusing the situation to lower their wage bill whilst hiding behind the NWM.

I know the Portuguese are 'lazy' in Portugal. Most of my wife's relatives do a few months work here and there to tide them over before having a few months 'holiday'. Not over here though. Maybe the NWM gives them incentive? Wish it had the desired effect on the Brits when it was originally brought in.

Thanks for the Poster above caling me boring. Yes I am. I am currently watching a documentary on the Secrets of the Egyptians. I am always watching historical documentaries. I also nearly always watch PMQs, This week and often the Daily Politics. That of course makes me boring because instead of those I should be watching Season X of yet another American series or playing on a Wii (I am told that these days adults play games consoles so at 36 I fit into that bracket)

Lets get back to the football. Sharp - would like but doubt he will move South. Love to be proven wrong. Maynard - Not really bothered if he comes or not.
