Based on my experience, none of the people mentioned in this game of Chinese Whispers are frigging idiots (well, maybe one of em... :emoticon-0100-smile ) so I believe that they believe this. Is it true? ..... f*** knows, but given the source said the announcement was tomorrow, at least we'll know pretty quickly.

I just hope that Bates clears at least £20 personal profit when he sells, for all the good work he has done for Leeds United. <ok>

Hello mate - Am round the corner from the tkmax in Watford, another Leeds fan mate is central Watford, another Northwood and another Leighton Buzzard. Should at least catch up for a beer sometime this season!

To 666/Elmo or whatver you called, its not debating when you insult people, its... well, its insulting. But you have been like this for a long long time, so I know you won't change. Its actually a pity, as when you are not on one of these "lets see how many people I can p*ss off" kicks, you sometimes have some points worth reading

Mr Phil Willis was MP for Harrogate before he became Baron Willis when he entered the House of Lords. It's well documeneted that he thinks Bates is crooked and wanted a full enquiry into the sale of Leeds United to Bates a number of years ago.

If you believe it was him wwho told me then that's OK with me. If you don't then that's OK as well. If you think I have made it up to wum you all or get off on it then I can't help that. Think what you want.

Never thought I would agree with Elmo.

Phil Willis is not a Baron he is a lord. Phil Willis has no idea about the take over according to the woman who still acts as his secretary in his office I called in today (Ashdown House, Station Parade, Harrogate. His secretary is Claire Puyner and she advised me that this week and since last Thursday the only thing he has been concerned with and discussing is the GCSE debacle. He is still the lib dem education spokesman. So if you are claiming Willis is your source you are telling untruths.

Interesting take. As I understand it, a Baron is a 5th order peer, addressed as 'Lord'.

I am not playing this game with you. You are missing my point, you have useful things to contribute, often you are not listened to because you intersperse the valid things you have to say with comments which are rude and dismissive of others. The quote I made (#81) above is an example. You have done the same to me in the past on JA.

However:

I made my comments in sadness not anger. Its a shame you miss the point again and want to have a legalistic debate about whether a particular comment was rude, dismissive or insulting, and whether it was justified because someone had said something to you you didn't like. I know where you want to go with this, but I am not going there with you. if you can't take on board my comments, which were intended to be constructive, then so be it.

Now if it was the mildest of slights aimed at you ..... well that's a different story.
