Now Guys.....Don't shoot me down, but........I was wondering whether losing Sol to the African Nations Cup, might give us a chance to see if the the defence is more solid without him and that Matt Mills is more at ease with a more conventional centre back ????? Thoughts Gentlemen ? ( Sorry if this topic has already been discussed )

we had better hope so...for me its a massive loss.. others need to step up to the plate... if we going anywhere this season this setback must be overcome one way or another.

Liam Moore can play centre back and he'll be ahead of the order before SSL.

I've heard that NP has been experimenting with a centre back pairing of Abe and Vassell in training ... apparently they're two from NP's shortlist ...

I'll get my coat ...

Yuki Abe and Matt Oakley both can play right back and Peltier can play centre half aswell. So we do have options

I don't see why Tunch can't do it. He placed a fair few games in a row for Palace. Perhaps he seemed out of sorts against Palace because of the formation, or because, like every other defender, he struggled playing alongside Bamba!
