Thanks Janabelle. She is very determined to get to us and give us kisses. Up until 3.30 this morning, expecting the second one to foal. Making some noise but turned out she was just flat out asleep and snoring her head off. At least I had a few hours sleep this morning but still a lot of sleep to catch up on.
It's a show jumping pedigree Mick. The mother is home bred by leading Irish stallion Cavalier Royale (deceased) out of our European 148 cm pony (represented Spain and GB). It's her second foal, the first being by World Champion Arko. The sire is Salto de L'Isle (picture below) leading French stallion of young stock. please log in to view this image Salto de L'Isle- Taken 2010 Our European 148 cm pony also produced a lovely colt (by Calvaro) who Amanda produced to become a fully licensed stallion, now jumping in America.

Ah, fond memories of when they are still at the "cute" stage. The TBs all start getting bolshy at about 2-3 months old, that's when they start to realise they are stronger than you!
This one is a bit bolshy already Princess. Very confident, loves humans. Instead of leading the mare back to the stable and letting the foal follow, it was easier to steer the foal back and let the mare follow. She is a real character and we are very pleased with her.
Her mum was teaching her to jump a couple of poles today - and very impressive she was too bless her.
I'd better not let my nieces see her then - they'd be on your doorstep in a flash. They both did vaulting and represented GB at European level. The elder one did a stint at the Racing School in Newmarket.
