Agree Dragon, as always the buck stops with the manager. However, if the players cannot be motivated by two different men in charge, then it's also time to get rid of them, as I'd imagine if they can't get motivated under Laudrup or Monk, then the new guy has no chance.
Normally its easy but not with us, it becomes messy with a court case and all kinds of rumour and mystery !
