Rightly or wrongly, I tend to equate a horses performances with that of humans. A lot of top flight athletes have pulled out a golden patch, then spend the rest of their careers chasing that form. Everyone puts in a PB, but next to none of them do it in their last comp. Frankel has had a fantastic season. are we expecting too much of him, if we ask for a repeat performance.
